Jasmine Phillips is a professional artist, freelance graphic designer and face and body painter with a passion for colour, creativity and story telling. Based on Tamborine Mountain, she has been providing face painting, body art, and pregnant belly art services to the Scenic Rim, greater Gold Coast area, and Brisbane since 2010.
Jasmine has competed in several National and State face painting and body art competitions, and in 2015 took out the Body Art (Brush and Sponge) title at the first annual Queensland Body Painting Championships.
Jasmine also teaches children’s art workshops and beginners face painting classes from her home studio and has been a featured instructor at the Scenic Rim’s premier arts festival Arts in the Olives as well as for one of Queensland’s premier youth theatre companies Goat Track Theatre. Through her studio, Jasmine offers graphic designer services, professional writing, art and illustration as well as face and body art.
Formerly a television and radio reporter, Jasmine holds a Bachelor of Communication (Journalism) from the University of Canberra and a Diploma of Commercial Art and Graphic Design. She holds a current blue card for working with children and has public liability insurance. Jasmine has also previously worked as a dance teacher, performer, and children’s entertainer and is passionate about empowering people through art, and inspiring young people in particular to unleash their creativity on the world!
