QBAS artists and models visited the Whoniverse on the Saturday, and Lord of The Rings on the Sunday (via a quick detour to take part in the Supanova parade). As usual they drew lots of attention and made quite a few new friends.

Once the stalls are packed up a street parade, lit with colourful lanterns provides the perfect stage for our models to bring their characters to life.

Yesterday some of our artists contributed to the colour of Arts in the Park at Logan River Parklands. Thanks to Logan City Council for inviting us to this great family event on Father’s Day.
Our cheerful artists represented QBAS at Fusion Festival in Cooroy. A brilliant, sunny day for the whole family, and our human canvases to add to the colour of the day.
We entertained the public with live demonstration of body painting, then our models mingled with people and had lots of photos taken. Even the Ipswich Major joined in the fun. In the evening we joined the lantern parade, a lovely way to end a very colourful day.
